Retired active duty Air Force 24 years.
Getting into this hobby, great site with a wealth of knowledge I'm hoping to tap into...

Thanks for your 24 years of service. That's a long time around the birds.
There's plenty to tap into here. I'm often impressed how a search will find an answer I thought obscure.

thanks for the welcome...yes I worked in the maintenance field, I was around the birds daily. Worked with the A-10's for 14 years, bad ass bird...

You'll find an abundance of knowledge combined with a bunch of helpful people in here.
May I suggest you read Cranky's spoonfeed thread (link in my signature)..?
