Hi all,

I've been lurking this forum for a while and decided to join in.

Currently running a "Keg still" setup.

https://imgur.com/7NdSQwI

24" column x 2"
24" shotgun with 7 x 1/2" OD pipes inside.

Currently thinking about making a dephlegmator to fit above my column and pack it to make neutral and maybe making a 4", 4 plates flute for my whiskey and rum runs.

Mod edit removed distilling question .

Thank you!

Hello blizzstill

Welcome to HD, there is definitely a goodly number of Canadians here, so you should feel at home. Eh.

Roughly what part of Canada are you from? What do you like to make/drink?

As you mentioned lurking, you may already know this but, the use of the "HD Google search" on the top menu is highly recommended. Most of the questions you might have are probably already answered somewhere here already.

Also recommended is posting your pics directly rather than using external hosting e.g. imgur. This helps to ensure content isn't lost over time.

Good luck, have fun, stay safe.

Edit: definitely guessing west coast given the keg you're using. Yes?

Hello from southern Ontario, I am fairly new as well but on a steep learning curve. I must say there does seem to be a fair amount of Canucks on here.

I'm from the East Coast. Currently aging a single malt made with our own barley. I am also working toward my first gin.

Welcome Blizzstill,

Duuuude! That is one serious manway on your keg! Love your still config and the upgrage-ability of your condenzer!

Do share with us the results of your gin trials; I'll be headed down that rabbit hole before too long.

Brick
