Joining the forum!
Hi I m Adam and I’m 22 from Newcastle. I am just beginning my venture with distilling with the aim of distilling gin. I used to be a mixologist for a cocktail bar so believe I could come up with some wacky creations once I’ve got the hang of everything. I’ve read through the posts and they’re really helpful! I’ve a lot of questions which I’ll save for a later date! But I look forward to corresponding with you all!!

Welcome in, Newcastle1996.
I'm sorta kinda like a PRE-mixologist, mixing good recipes and distilling the hell out of 'em.
Check out Odin's Gin from the Tried & True section.
A terrific gin that's easy and proven to work. Good stuff there, Adam.
See you around the forums. Glad you're here.

Due respect but OH the reading has just begun. Distilling 101 will give you some great insight then pick out a Tried & True recipe and follow it to the letter the first time.Newcastle1996 wrote: I’ve read through the posts and they’re really helpful! Enjoy your journey!

welcome in adam.
in total agreement with Tdick, start with a tried & true first then when you get that down pat start expanding later.
if you are interested in Gin one of the T&T neutrals would be where you want to go. BTW is straight forward & easy to get most of the ingredients at the grocery.
I haven't been doing this very long, follow the advise of the "old timers".
my first was BirdWatchers, then onto UJSSM. I have done one rum and working on a second.
Trying to get things together to start my venture into all grain.
