Permission to come aboard folks?

Post by Salmoneater22 »

Hey all, I have been interested in the practice for quite some time. Just took off a second batch of neutrals that don't taste neutral. I have a 15gal pot/ reflux system. I am here to gather your accumulated knowledge for a more perfect product. So happy to meet y'all!

Don't feel bad. My first two vodka runs were cleaner than anything I'd ever made but missed the mark. That's the best thing about this vast online library called HD. The answers are there. You just gotta do a little huntin'. BTW - I've got 54" of scrubbie-packed column. The problem lies in how I'm refluxing and power management, I'm positive.

Welcome aboard.

Has anyone ran a copper mesh 24" column under a 20" 4 plate column?

Hey Salmoneater22 ---Welcome to the fun!
The Admins want to keep the Welcome Center for Hello's and How Are Ya's,
so put your column question in the correct forum to keep it on topic, please.
That'll keep 'em from yelling at us, and you'll get more responses.

Nice meeting you, my friend, and it's good to have you here.

Welcome Salmoneater22,

Is your 15 gallon pot/reflux still home built or purchased? What kind of reflux still is it?
