Back after a long hiatus

Post by kazoo »

Hello again, I joined this forum several years ago. Life, kids, aging parents etc. interrupted everything in general. I'm still using a 25 gal. copper pot still. Had some good results with grains, sugar washes, brandy, and one failure with a rum run. By the time the sugar cane was ready in the fall, it was too cool for my fermentation to work. Just started another sugar wash a couple of days ago.(Wineo's recipe) First one in several years, hope I've still got the touch. I was born and raised in the deep south, traveled around the country a bit and lived upstate NY for a little while in the 70's. More later.
