Hello,
I'm Allan, from New Zealand.
I've made a modular CCVM keg still. It's got a 1 metre copper column, 2400W element with a power controller and a stainless shotgun condenser.
I'm only getting started - recently made a turbo sugar wash as a first run, then just done a stripping run today of a molasses rum wash, then started generation 2 fermenting today.
Originally thought I'd get into all grain whiskeys... I drink a fair bit of Jim Beam... but also have quite a collection of Scotch Whiskeys - mostly Islay for the burnt dirt taste I love
I'm quite liking the Rum process so far though - already started a dunder-pit
Thanks!
Allan.
