Sun shine hello

One sugar wash run under my belt went very well but want to advance in the hobby.

Starting out with a brewers edge mash and boil with pump and copper pot still lid. Struggling a little with temp control.

Hello and welcome to HD. If you'll do a bit of reading in cranky's and new distillers lounge, it will help you run your pot still a bit better. Good luck, have fun and be safe.

Simple Lil' Pot Still, no temp guage, no carbon, no scrubbers, nuthin' fancy. Sometimes use a thumper, sometimes don't.

Welcome, there are good readings suitable for those who are approaching the hobby, I recommend reading because they will avoid you some mistakes.

Can't control temps. That's why you're struggling with temp control.
You'll discover more as your do your due diligence.
Trample the injured and hurdle the dead.
