Back to the beginning

Hi team

I've owned a still here in NZ for probably about 25 years, a basic reflux 25 litre which was one of the early ones sold when they started selling stills here.
I was never really all that happy with the quality of the product I was getting so really haven't run it more than a dozen times in the last ten years.
I always maintained an interest in the hobby, and when some of those beautiful plate stills started showing up it started me thinking again.

I've settled on a mid point, with a locally fabricated Boka still with some SPP on order, and with a fair few videos from our local man Jesse at Still It on board, I'm starting up again to try and nail a good clean base for Gins etc, and expanding out from there

Welcome to HD. We have come a long way in the evolution of home distilling. All of it is here for you. Have fun and stay safe.
