Names Gumby Damit and Im new to the craft. Wow, shocking I know So I've chose Rum as my starting spirit. I quite like it, so I wanted to make it. Having a great time with the whole process and look forward to learning as much as I can.

Hi gumby (i've got my head stuck in the cupboard)
I started with rum as well, made from feed stock molasses - aging 6 month to a year on oak was definitely needed for a drinkable product for me.
