New from Canada (QC)
Hi everyone.
42 years old man. I live in Montreal area Canada QC.
I was lurking since a long time about distilling and I bite the bullet buying an abandoned project on marketplace.
It's basically a 50L beer keg with 2 120v 1500w electric heat elements with a reflux still designed column.
I have to finish the project so I will have some challenge to get my first run done.
During this i will have some good reading here to get my skill ready to the next steps.

It sounds like you have a solid boiler so, fear not, the column will be relatively easy to assemble.
... and welcome to HD !

By the way, you will have a hard time beating the prices from equinox in Boisbriand.

Shit I bought but shouldn't have :
1. Amazon 30L pot distiller
2. T-500 reflux column (good product but expensive)
3. Large 60L stock pot + 2" column
Now using 15.5gal KEG + 5500w electric + fully aircooled reflux condensor and product condenser.

Welcome, members would love to see pictures of your build. In the construction or column section members would enjoy and some maybe will make suggestions on your build. Good luck you are at a fun part of the hobby (the journey).
