Introduction

Post by Seabee Shiner »

Hello,

Thanks for letting me join and learn from you all. I’ve been distilling for a few years now, but still learning the hobby. I travel a lot for work so my home time is limited which means me hobby time is limited. When I first started I had real good success but seems like i can’t improve. I know it was beginngers luck and there’s plenty of room to grow. Hoping this group can guide this old dog into learning new tricks. Thanks again. Shine on.

Dang, nice... well done. So you aren't out for months at a time. Running a ferment for 6 weeks, 2 months a little longer isn't really problematic, especially if your sanitation is good. In fact I have UJSSM sitting in a corner from mid November, its fine... I'll get around to it and it will be delicious. You can start a ferment, leave town and make a run when you get back. This is the ultimate hobby for the lazy and procrastination prone.
