I want to start small and learn. I’ve helped distill with a friend one time. Since I’m starting small I want to use a turkey fryer and acquire equipment over time.
I live in a rural community so I have access to corn easily. I’ll need to grind, mash, distill and filter. If I have wrong terms let me know.
I have plenty of time since I recently retired and have plenty of room with several buildings on 160 acres.
Thanks for making me welcome.

Welcome to the group, if distilled and cuts are done properly, you shouldn't need to filter.

Welcome. It will be fun if you can produce a drink from corn grown right on your quarter of land. Lots to read but a few areas to look for. One, if using a lot of corn, enzymes make it a lot easier. And two, for your first time or to, if you use rolled/flaked corn, the starch has already been gelatinized so you don't have to worry about that step, just while learning. Note, even flaked corn still needs ground to get good conversion.
