Welcome to the forum Bren .
Hope I didn’t come across too negative when I commented in your other post .
It’s good you are here to learn . Not sure what kind of Pot still you have, but it will surely always be useful in your journey .
The little 5 litre Still I started with still gets occasional use when I do a Gin with Botanicals .

Do a lot if reading , you will find that for a good Vodka and a clean base for your Gin , you ideally will want a Reflux still .

LOL … and ditch the turbos

Thanks for the welcome.
I'm just using a little 5ltr pot still until I get the hang of it then I'll start looking at getting bigger.
There's a whole load of stuff to learn.
Should keep me out of the otherhalfs hair for a while.
Sorry if I take a while to respond I'm doing it all of my phone so it's a bit slow.

Welcome, one thing I can say is read a lot. The biggest gain I got from this forum was the common theme of getting a small pot at the beginning, then moving to a bigger pot and finally to 15 gal pot. So I just started with a 15 gal to save from a 3 pot growth pattern. You really can't beat a 15 gal keg with a Chinese column set (that was my second still).
Welcome, ask questions and have fun. BTW I'm 15 yrs older than you so anytime is a good time.
