It only took me 30 years
Hi everyone, it took me 30 years but eventually I am doing what I thought I would always love. I bit the bullet and bought myself a few buckets and a still (The 'Copperhead' Pot Still)... I AM IN LOVE! The whole process, science, and general artistic nature of fermentation and distillation, the people you run in to and interesting chats, the learning, and like potentially right now, the screw ups Might have to pop a post up about it after a bit of a search around here. Anyhoo, hope to interact with a few of you, learn some tricks and share my experiences some, I'll pop a 'first' post up shortly too regarding the success I have had so far with my first distillation.

Welcome along Octopus, yes it sure is a fun old hobby, and rewarding too! There are a few of us around Christchurch that are happy to help with advice. I'm still definitely still learning after a year and a half. Pleased I found this place to help get me through the lockdowns!!
