Clearing and racking is needed for making wine and beer, but you are distilling so it isn't necessary and may even be detrimental. If it's done, get it into the still and run it.

That depends on your still and your skill. Running with the whole ferment in the boiler, or with the free run in the boiler and the pulp in the thumper, gets the best yield and flavor.

Im not going to risk it... im just going to filter it as i normally do. usually we send it through a colander, wire strainer, then cheesecloth. might skip the cheese cloth step this time. filtering tonight, running sunday! looking forward to having some in my cabinet again!!!
