Hi Guys,
Have searched, but haven't found what Im looking for. Ive made a lot of Rum and Vodka, and some 100% barley whiskey.
Im an All Grain Beer brewer, and have a 20gallon Mashtun. For beer, it is super easy to mash, and vorloff, and ferment a clear beer off the grain.
I want to do a large batch of whiskey, but incorporate a large amount of corn into the mash bill. I have cracked corn, and I know I will not be able to drain my Mashtun with a large amount of corn.
Could I do a large, lets say 30 gallon batch of barley all grain, vorloff and add the clear beer to a bunch of Cracked corn, UJSSM style? Or would this be a waste/ failure? I can easily get a high conversion rate with the barley, and use the corn more for flavouring. Anybody done the same or have a recipe to recommend?

Re: All Grain, UJSSM combo
Corn is a bit of a goopy process. Search up large batch mashing and check that out. You don’t need to follow beer protocols for whiskey. For me fermenting on-grain and squeezing works best with corn mashes.
