At what price does it pay?

Post by Jaxom »

Stopped over at my local grocery store the other day for a few odds and ends, and I happened to notice they had a particular wine on sale. $8.99 a gallon. Now, see, I'm not really big on wine my self, but I do know enough that this is a premire wine.

But I'm just wondering, is this a good price for one to stock up on to make other stuff with...(read brandy, port, other things that folks have mentioned on here). Or should I just wait untill I'm setup to make my own which will most-likely be of better quality?

Eight-ninety-nine, gallon, premier wine? Surely you meant "Big Name"! Truth is that it's probably fine as a sturdy table wine, and will make acceptable, though not spectacular, brandy, etc.
Purposeful motion, for one so insane...
