My first double helix coil

I made a double helix coil. It was so easy!!! I almost couldn't believe it.

I bought:
5m of 6mm (1/4 inch) copper coil - $29
2x knees 6mm - $5.6
2x compression union 6mm to 10mm (3/8 inch) - $36
2x threaded coupling 10mm (3/8 inch) - $3.2
2x hose connection - $6

At first I was really sceptic about doing this coil. I didn't have any tools to bend a coil, like bending springs and
other similar gadget and the bench where you would wind the coil. But when I came home I started thinking
what tools I could use. Then I realized I could use the mopstick. It was made out of somekind of metal,
thin steel I belive. Also I wasn't sure how I could put salt in the copper coil. But after reading a thread here I
found out that I could just use a water. I filled the coil in my bathtub by sucking up the water. Then I dove it in
and fetched pliers and compressed both ends. Later I fetched the mopstick and started to wound. That part was
really hard. I couldn't finish the second ring, couldn't get a grip and I gave up. After serious thinking I tried using
rubber gloves, the yellow ones you use for dishwashing. Thats where the winding started to get REALLY easy.
A good grip and smooth winding. I used a screwdriver to make equally separated rings.
The airgap between the inner coil and outer was made by using a brown paper cover from a notebook.

So if you are doing this with your bear hands I recommend rubber gloves.

The coil is around 20 cm long and total lenght is 37 cm.
