my first real still

Many like to post about a first successful ferment (or first all grain mash), or first still built/bought or first good run of the still. Tell us about all of these great times here.
Pics are VERY welcome, we drool over pretty copper 8)

Have a look at Odin’s iStill. I believe his tanks have stirrers in them. Use the HDGoogle search engine and it should pull up a few threads.

Also, der wo’s “rummager” is a boiler stirrer. Search for that one as well. Hint - his signature has a link to his thread.

I like the look of that tank. But the rest of all that is way way out there to me. I can't begin to try to understand all that. My brain is way old for all the new tech stuff. Good luck and keep us posted.

Right on. Looking great. Those float sensors might give you hell with the boiling action pushing them around. You might have to program it to ignore signals under a certain measure of time.

So i’ve looked over your thread several times and still can’t figure out where that damn coil goes? I’m sure I’m missing something. Otis

Please excuse my question, but what is the flute thing left to the parrot.

What a build this is, wow. Impressing skills. Did welding, brazing, soldering and fuzzing around with a lot of metals myself, 20 years ago. What you do looks simply great.
