Kayro syrup........for rum??

Post by Safegyde »

Anyone tried kayro syrup? It is sold in the pancake syrup section just like molasses. I know it is sweet, but I wonder if anyone has tried making a rum out of it.

While I was looking I was wondering about that buttered flavored syrup. I wonder if you can use that to ferment a butter rum?? :D :D Sounds good. I wonder if it would work. Any guesses??

Karo syrup is basically corn syrup so I agree it would probably be more like vodka.
