Hi anybody been doing pear mash ? I read somewhere it's have specific taste I found a few trees I would have maybe 60-80kg they are wild pears and they are Very very very tart but aromatic aswell I grab a bite of one but I didn't manage to eat it I tried one also from the floor they been more aromatic/sweet but still tarty as fuc*

I make some pears every year. If they are sour they are not ripe, you have to wait until they are super ripe for a good result. Same goes for apples, the procedure is almost the same.

Some pears ripen better off the tree. Pick some and see how they are in a few days.

@Demy they are not sour but very tart literally when I bite one my tounge almost went numb I will wait abit longer anyway as I will be doing another apple mash so maybe they will ripe abit more
