Yeast nutrient grams > tbs ??

Post by Captin Moron »

Hey guys,

After my last wash with tomato paste I decided to go the powder nutrient route from the brew shop. The tomato paste was so messy, it stained all my fermenters and spoon, and it stinks. So I went to my local brew shop and picked up some wine yeast nutrient, 250g pack for $2.50.

My problem is I bought my scale for measuring sugar, It isnt accurate below 250 grams. Anyone know approx how many table spoons 100 grams of nutrient is? This would save me from buying another scale...

Thanks,
