Rum and "Vodka Pure" Turbo yeast
So I have 2 barrels fermenting, 12 gallons each. Had all the ingredients for a Rum run, minus some yeast for one barrel. One barrel is fermenting nicely with my normal yeast. But the one I didn't have yeast for?… I used some "Vodka Pure" Turbo Yeast I had left over from a while ago. The one with the "Vodka Pure" is not "bubbling"… so far. It's been about 12 hours. I took the air-gap off to let it breathe for a few hours this morning to see if that would help. Nothing so far. It's been quite a while since I've used Turbo anything but I thought, even though it's a Molasses (1gallon) and brown sugar (7 lb), the yeast would still go to work… Did I miss something? Is there really a difference in the turbo yeasts to where this yeast just ruined the my fermenting? Start all over?

Just repitch with new different yeast.
