I think boiled yeast is always a good nutrient. Have you seen Crow's Rum?
Croweater calls for tomato paste (à la Birdwatchers) in that rum, and I can attest that there is zero carry over. Just a dab'll do ya.

If the brewers yeast is a nutritional supplement
Boiling isn't necessary because the yeast is already dead

i've only seen it as an addition to other nutrients rather than suggested as an all encompassing nutrient hit. can anyone confirm if it has everything that a sugar wash would need? molly washes obviously would start with more nutrients compared to sugar washes, can dead yeast provide all of the rest?

i am doing a buc bobs rum
fermented out in a raging roar on molasses only
when i added the sugar after 3 days fermentation is slow
its working off but slow
added some brewers yeast and did help a bit
but not raging
p.h 4.7
think i will hit it with tomato paste anyhow
can`t hurt
to be continued
