what is this infection?

Post by jon1163 »

So about 5 gallons of rum Dunder from my last Butter Rum. I covered it with a little cheese cloth and let it sit in the garage. Now there's some sort of marble-sized white things floating in it. Does anyone know what this maybe or if this might be a beneficial infection? The smell is still as strong rum Dunder.

Jon, this growing at all? Look any different?
I looked at beer forum photos to hopefully ID what this is, but to no avail.
