vitamin B question
Is there any difference in the type of Vitamin B you use? What I mean is that there is B+, B100, B12, B2, B1, B3 and the list goes on...
I want to try a yeast bomb next round, and want to make it with the correct vitamin B.... if it applies....lol....

Re: vitamin B question
The yeast themselves, roughly, are half-protein + half-vitaminb.
So, make your own "morning wee" a bit more expensive with all those food supplements: the yeast could take care of themselves better than ya

Thats Russian for get a handful of yeast and boil it in a pot if water . The dead yeast will have all the B vits your love yeast need .
Having said that , I’ve gone from using a Multi vit tablet , to using a few of mrs Yummys B1,B6 and B12 tabs
Last few times she run out and all was left was B1 . Still worked .

Never used vitamins but boiled yeast and it worked very well. Other times I used a little wort stored during brewing and it worked very well.

Boiled yeast is one of the best nutrients you can feed yeast. As for what B-vits are best you are what you eat so:
B vitamins are involved in the metabolic cycle. If you feed yeast B-vits you'll enhance the speed that it works. It's basically turboing the yeast without the other bad effects of turbo yeast.Thiamine (B1)
Riboflavin (B2)
Pyridoxine (B6)
Potassium
Zinc

Boil two heaping tablespoons of yeast and boil them in a little of your wash if possable/ If not just use water...when this has cooled add it to your wash while yelling at the top of your voice ..."THIS IS WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO YOU, YOU LITTLE (use your favorite expletive here) IF YOU DON'T MAKE SOME TRULY OUTSTANDING ALCOHOL ! ! ! "

Yupp.
Miewkay, that Russian sez to add (bring in?) some B12 from the outside. The rest vits your yeast have (has?) inside (within?)

Do you need exactly that B12 in your wort? Of course: if your sleep turns to a deeper and better...
P.S. Lold about the SOBs' guts turned out

I've been using Vegemite for over thirty years, which saves me the bother of boiling the yeast myself. A few months ago I read a poorly researched Australian news item that reckoned they were going to ban the sale of Vegemite in the Northern Territories because it was a moonshine ingredient. There is Vegemite in my current Sugar Shine.
