Verrrry interesting, Bushman. Imagine eventually having the ability to formulate a composite "ink" with which to "print" a cask. This ink could be comprised of, say, a specific mix of american white and/or french oak particles, sprayed to a specific density for permeability and exchange of air and spirit. Blended into whatever type(s) of aging wood particles, the ink could also include designer percentages of bourbon, sherry, cabernet, etc. The possibilities would be endless...
