Absolutely true - another reason I miss my own brewmeister son who has moved to Scotland. His pumpkin dunkel was truly a work of art.

Enjoyed the read, Elysian Brewing Company mentioned in the article is from my State of Washington. It has had rave reviews but I am not as fond of their beers in comparison to other local craft breweries.

And in a twist, if you will: If it weren't for beer brewers, most of us would be malting our own stuff.
Brewers are the driving force behind all the grain shops and many hardware sources available to us "illegals."
