Some interesting reading here. I am questioning the Barrel size requirement and the affect on the Craft Crowd.

I'm confused as normal
Barrels smaller than 50g can no longer be used.
Only the time spent in the first barrel counts.
What happens to all the craft whiskey thats aging in smaller barrels?

If this is true it will hurt craft distilleries starting out.shadylane wrote:I'm confused as normal

Yup seems like a move by the big boys to try to limit the number of craft distilleries opening up. But the article also stated that it could take years to go in to affect. Hopefully craft distilleries find away to keep it from going into affect.Bushman wrote:If this is true it will hurt craft distilleries starting out.shadylane wrote:I'm confused as normal
