Liquor/barrel scammers

Post by Opdog »

It looks like these guys are at it again:

They might actually see some sanctions this time.
I've stopped fighting my inner demons. We are on the same side now.

Doubt it, they have no physical address anywhere in the world.
When I got duped by these guys I followed the trail through several countries.
Hard to sanction when there's no "there" there.

Some offer currently running on a Facebook distilling site:

They are a hitherto unnamed vendor in Maine.
There's a frenzy of excited pricing requests so I'd be like the boy who pooped in the punchbowl
if I posted the article about the scam.

EDIT: Screw it. I posted the article on Facebook anyway.
Folks need to know.

You're correct, Swedish.
Even a bunch of 18% turbo-washers are people, too.

Dont know if anyone uses them, but OakWoodBarrels.com has been recognized as a scam by the Kentucky AG after numerous complaints of non-delivery to the Better Business Bureau.
