If only the best birds sang, the woods would be silent.

Don't tell, don't sell.

Just doesn't get any simpler than that.

Selling untaxed liquor out of a convenience store....I hope the law comes down hard on them (both).

That is NOT what hobby distilling is about.

I used to go to an asian food store that had home made fermented rice drinks in a cooler with lunch stuff. Clear plastic 16oz cup with rice water, coconut water and a yeast ball in it. Tasted great!

I asked if the Health Department didn't give them greif about it? "Bitches not know what it is."

I can’t help but wonder....was the busted distiller a member here? If so, then he would surely know of the legal danger he’s in. But worse....does he realize the damage done to the hobby distilling industry?

Our site promotes safe home-use hobby distilling with the caveat that commercial distilling members post their license to clarify the legal implications. This allows us to synergize knowledge bases. But illegal operations jeopardize our freedoms and spur negative notariety.

This scenario is more “real” than the made-for-TV reality clown show. Who da’ figured?

 A lot of those articles also show the bust with pictures of the still(s). Curious how big it was and if he had other outlets. I am told for legal distillers getting your product on the shelf is one of the more difficult parts.
