Ancient industrial sized distillery that operated for hundreds of years was recently unearthed in China.

It seems like if the Chinese wasn't first in history in just about everything man-made, they were at least right in there. They've certainly been around long enough.

Too bad they have such a long way to go to be regarded as legitimate in spirits (whiskey) manufacture like the Japanese are.
