My Grappa made from black grapes.....60% abv

After a couple of months resting it has turned out extremely Smooth and has a good sweet smell of fresh grapes on the nose.

All round pretty happy with this as a white brandy, I put the majority on medium toasted APJohns Hungarian Oak and will taste test that stuff in 6 months. :moresarcasm:

it all starts with a warm bath to get the right parts swollen, then you need to anoint it in spirit, only then do you get your nose near the hole......of course it’s an Oak Barrel full of UJ

Using Odins gin botanicals, added 350g or 3/4 lb of frozen raspberries to the boiler and the raspberry flavour and bouquet has come through nicely. Quaffing it at the moment with tonic.
