I'm drinking some Proper #Twelve Irish whiskey.
The stuff Conor McGregor is selling.
To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. This is the worst Irish Whiskey.
There's not even a hint of grain, it tastes like heads flavored with vanilla and liquid smoke.
It leaves a god awful after taste that lingers on and on.
It's so bad that 10 minutes later, you'll still be trying to use your teeth to scrape the flavor off your tongue.

Sounds delightful!

I think I’ll stick to the home-made stuff — the 100% wheat whiskey I’m sippin’ on right now isn’t the best I’ve made, but crikey, it sounds a long sight better than what you’re drinkin’!

I wasn't sure where to share this.
A how-to for "simple" frozen margaritas.
How To Bag A Bourbon Boat Drink

I assume can also be used for any slushie type drink.
One question - does anyone add bourbon to their Margaritas?

I took a hip flask of 7 year old Peach Schnapps to the pub this afternoon and the lady who let me raid her tree just happened to show up for the first time in years, (she has been living in OZ for many years). Everyone who tried it liked it, including her

Sippin on some white dog 75/13/12 I made last month. The 5 quarts aging in glass sure smell great.

Ten High was the first whiskey I got hungover on. My cousins and I found a case in my uncle’s basement when the folks went out for the night. There was puking, and hungover scrubbing of Ten High puke…

I was 14. Now I’m 56. Ten High is still not my brand

Same as list night. white dog. Just squeezed out 24 gallons of gumballhead from the grains off this whiskey. I'll let it clear for a couple weeks and run it, make a tight hearts cut for about a few quarts to make some black cherry shine for sippin this summer. My peach is all but gone, and the berry liqueurs are a little too sweet unless your having some in lemonade.

Well, not on this side of the mountains anyway. It was hot as hell up here in the foothills today, and its going to be hotter tomorrow and Monday. Just another summer where we appreciate the heat pump we installed in 2006. I think we peaked at 101 today around 5:30. It reached 105 in the garage, but the inside of the house stayed at 74 all day.
AC makes drinkin whiskey easy in the heat. But tomorrow is gonna be a lemonade day. (SPD and lemonade)

Went out to a birthday party for a friend last night and it was a wine drinking night. Killed a few bottles. I like wine but dont drink it often, and today I remember why. Good Christ that stuff gives me a banging headache hangover. Need to put that useless juice in a still and extract out the goodness from the poison!

I do like to drink it though.

I think the histamine are as guilty as all the other stuff in the wine. Some varieties have a worse effect on my than others. Grenache for one stuffs me up and gives me a banging headache, while Syrah and Malbec treat me well.

+1

Didn't have a problem through my 50's but ever since distilling began have suffered from da stupped-up dose, and numerous next-day slows from wine. Nothing like a good chewy California red.
