Quarterly free bottle arrived. Meh

Was that ever a good decision I made a year ago!!

You get a free tasting box and a free full size bottle every quarter.

This time I chose a rum I had never tried before, and I have to admit I did not choose wisely.
It's Ron Colon Salvadodoreno High Proof Rum.
Bottled at 111 proof.

It is headsy with a petroleum fuel front and back taste.
I am attempting to have some in Mexican Coke and it's not as bad.
I can't say emphatically enough "Don't Buy".

Every other quarterly bottle I have ordered I have been totally pleased with.

Product website tells me nothing about the rum in their coffee infused rum. Just lots of talk about coffee beans. Its no doubt sourced. They are bartenders/mixers, not distillers.
