A step closer in NY?

Post by Loonytim »

Came across this article today. Maybe it's a step in the right direction toward legalizing home distilling?

I do apologize for the article being mostly an advertisement for that distillery. Just wanted to highlight the new law which I hadn't heard about until now.

Why is the first picture a row of separation funnels?
Does anyone here use separation funnels when making whiskey
little off-topic on the post but that's what I noticed

Edit
$15,000 for 53 gallons?
That's 283 dollars a gallon
we pay 125 for a 101 oz of JD
Rye whisky rye whisky oh dont let me down

I'm surprised I never thought of that
Seen people do that with the fast ferment
Probably a little harder to control since its quite a sizable step up
