Filed wth the TTB, now I wait.

Post by badflash »

I filed my application with the TTB for a small alcohol fuel license. I'd been fighting for weeks with my internet service provider (hughs net) as they had been blocking Permits On-Line. They finally fixed it.

Now I wait for the questions and answers. The biggest requirement is a separate structure from your home that can be secured. The whole process took about an hour.

I'm starting with a very basic Mr. Distiller type pot still. Once I work out the production kinks I will build a real still and modify the application. You have to have a still and a facility before you can get a license. I already had the distiller for making distilled water. My facility is a chicken coop that I can lock that I'm no longer using.

Good luck with your operation and application.
What will you be fueling?

I have a 2000 Flex fuel Ford Ranger. I also plan on powering my tractor with it. Looks like my Coleman lantern will work too.
