What do you think of this for my first still
It is reflux 30L boiler with 2kw 220v element variable.

Looks pretty nice to me.
Is the dephleg and top and product condenser all one piece?
What temperatures are those thermometers measuring? I see one vapor temp above the dephleg.

There is a temp reading at the very top and one on the Liebig condenser. The other is a spare.

Hi alymo, the still looks fine and quite versatile for your first still. 
You’ll be able to remove the packed section for running it as a pot still and also just run water through the liebig condenser.
You will want to include a power controller in your set up.
I think you’ll want more than a 2kw element for a 3” column
My only concern would be how effective the small liebig condenser would be at knocking down high vapour flow rates

The Liebig is 610cm long.
I will have a power controller (PID)
Would I be better with a 3'column or a longer 2"?
Either way I can add some extra length if needed
Mmmmm I thought I would have enough power with that element it is a 2.2kw, have to evaluate that.

PID to control the boiler heating element is not what you want. It controls by temperature which won't work. You need one that will control the amount of power going in. There are lots of suggestions here for how to do that. The easiest is a potentiometer and a variable solid state relay. Still dragon sells a cheap to do just that.

So here is what I have ordered
as per picture 3" column 30L boiler 2.5kw with variable controller some copper mesh and extra gaskets.
Digital temp gauge.

The Auber DSPR220 acts like a PID Controller in one mode and a variable power controller in another mode. This is a brilliant little unit because it only requires one Solid State Relay to operate in either mode.
If you only want variable power then another option would be a potentiometer, a variable solid state relay and a heatsink. There are complete kits as well as all parts sold separately here. Some prefer to install the heatsink on the exterior of the box for dissipating heat. Some install a fan and keep the heat sink inside the box.
