Copper cleaning schedule
Ok so I was stripping out a single malt yesterday and noticed a brown shitty film building up on my stainless steel funnel then more in the end of my strip I took down my still and washed out a bunch of brown crud and my copper condenser is starting to get a green tarnish on the 4 cut ends in the shotgun I'm wondering if this is a normal deal or did I just puke bad I was running 4 gallon
barley in an 8 gallon boiler on medium heat. What can I use to clean that green crud off? Citric acid? Ketchup? Or am I being a clean freakYou have two ears and one mouth for a reason....

Cap the end and fill it with citric acid solution, and let it sit for a couple of hours it should wipe right off.

All grains and the oily brown shits are a pain. I use a hot citric acid wash to clean it.
Re: Copper cleaning schedule
I've got to go get some citric acid and I'm gonna clean the whole condenser before the spirit run I dont want any brown shit in my final product
