Home made Honey Mustard PDQ

Post by kiwi Bruce »

I've always liked Honey Mustard style condiment/sauce, better than baroque of ketchup on french fries or a hot dog, and I've always saved a few micro-tubs from Queen Buffy's Burgers, so today I went to the fridge and Oh No! I'm out... so I made my own...
1 part Dijon mustard
1 part yellow mustard
1 part mayo
1 part honey (I used clover)
1 part ---and here's the good part---balsamic vinegar (you can use white, but the balsamic adds a nice sweet taste)
an 1/8th part onion powder
an 1/8th part garlic powder

Mix it all together, use immediately and it will keep for weeks in the fridge.

If I say so myself...best damn condiment I've tasted!

Thats a keeper. Sounds like it would be good with grilled barnyard pimp too.

🎱
🎱 The struggle is real and this rabbit hole just got interesting.
Per a conversation I had with Mr. Jay Gibbs regarding white oak barrel staves: “…you gotta get it burning good.”

Was with you with all the ingredients except for the mayo  this is a mustard sauce keep the f-ing mayo out of it. By the way I hate mayo and think that it should be on the list of what not to use, just my opinion. :)

I just made this. Thanks, it's great.

Tomorrow I'm grilling about a thousand and two homemade sausages (all kinds) and this will be a great condiment to have on the table.
Gort, Klaatu barada nikto!
