Spiced Rum Recipe
4 gallons Blackstrap Molasses
16 gallons Water
4 crushed Vitamin B Complex tablets
4 tablespoon Bakers Yeast
Ferment as normal
4 strips / 1 spirit run
Age on toasted/charred oak for 1 year or more
Spice Mix:
4 Cloves
1 pinch Ginger
1 pinch Nutmeg
1 Cinnamon Stick
1 Vanilla Bean, split
12 Raisins
1 3” tangerine peel
1 Black Walnut, halved
Leave in for 3 days, strain, dilute to 43% (my preference)
