Bottled in Bond Means it was distilled, Aged and Bottled in the same facility!

Bottled by, means they bought liquor from someone else and bottled and labeled it under a Rectifier License. Look at your labels of commercial closely!

Bottled by, does not mean distilled by!

I believe that, technically, Bottled in Bond means it was (probably stored and) bottled under the control of the Excise authorities.

It also means it's 100 proof and made during one season, and 4 years old. Too many rules. I prefer to just add fermented, distilled and bottled by on the label. Making it clear we did all the work.
