Flavor in a brandy

Post by rtkimble01 »

I’m in the process of running a peach brandy. Will I have a good peach flavor in the end product without using a thumper

That depends on what you intend to do, but you didn't say.

Just wanting a good drink with a good peach flavor, have a good mash made ready to run. Just wondering if the peach taste will still be good without using a thumper

That's up to your skills as a distiller. If you throw out flavor doing the distilling or the cuts, you won't have as much as you will if you don't. I suggest that you do the research before you charge the boiler. The Google search should find you plenty of reading.
