I'd already listened to more than 30 YouTube piano music videos last night, before I encountered any of the new hot chick piano players. Four or five of these foreign concert pianist have looks that might distract male viewers from concentrating on their music. Lola Astanova came from Uzbekistan (previously of the USSR), Anastasia Huppmann was born in Russia (parents apparently Austrian), Khatia Buniatishvili is Georgian (of USSR) and Alice Sara Ott is German (German father/ Japanese mother).

None are real hard to look at and Astranova should change her name to Assfordayz!
(I think she knows it too)
Actually I saw the link to her playing "Rhapsody In Blue", not strictly classical but I like it!

I wouldn't have posted this if you hadn't brought it up.
I think both Diana Krall & Diane Lane are hotter than $2 iPhones.
and I saw this that included them both:

Diana Krall's name is familiar because I've listened to her music many times on jazz radio. Didn't know she played the piano and never watched her in a video though.

By the way she's married to Elvis Costello.

Diana K is definitely not hard on the eyes. Elvis is one lucky sumbitch. I dont know if its my imagination but she always looks HAMMERED in her video's.

Always GREAT to see you put in an appearance here Jimbo! :D

Yes there is a chance she's hammered. Of course she's also selling that sexy look and sound.

Someone who never had to try to sell very hard was Julie London.
Well before my time but DAMN! what a woman in every sense of the word.
This is 1960's technology yet her voice sounds like she is playing an instrument.
This is some whiskey and water music here:

Crow, I love the tune Iris Dement did with John Prine. Laugh outloud every single time I hear it.

I have long been a fan of Danny Barnes ... and this rendition of "Moonshiner" is sweet.

As I sit here nudging the valve on my reflux condenser this comes to mind....

She needs a stillman with a slow hand,
She needs a runner with an easy touch.
She needs someone to man her valve,
Not come and go in a heated rush...

Can't get this song out of my head :(
I was a highwayman
On the coach roads I did ride
With a sword and pistol by my side
Many a young maid lost her baubles to my trade
Many a soldier shed his lifeblood on my blade
The bastards hung me in the spring of twenty-five
But I'm still alive

I was a sailor
And I was born upon the tide
And with the sea I did abide
I sailed a schooner round the Horn to Mexico
I went aloft and furled the mainsail in a blow
And when the yards broke off they said that I got killed
But I'm living still

I was a dam builder
Across this river deep and wide
Where steel and water did collide
In a place called Boulder on the wild Colorado
I slipped and fell into the wet concrete below
They buried me in that grey tomb that knows no sound
But I'm still around
And I'll always be around, and around, and around

And I flew a star ship
Across the universe divide
And when I reach the other side
I'll find a place to rest my spirit if I can
Perhaps I may become a highwayman again
Or I may simply be a single drop of rain
But I will remain
And I'll come back again, and again, and again
And again, and again, and again

With song titles like "retard bus" or "rock and roll McDonald's" this guy is definitely a one off phenomenon.
