Listening to Bird and Diz on vinyl. Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Rich and Thelonious Monk. Talk about the All Star team. As a bonus, my wife's father did the cover art. I have a glass of apple brandy in my hand and some chicken parmesan in the oven. Today is my last day of quarantine, I had a mild case of the 'rona. So I think I'll be having a little more brandy...

For the last ten days I have been singing this:

Except I have been singing muh muh my Corona!

Just discovered John Prine. He's been making music longer than I've been alive and I first heard of him a couple weeks ago.

My music tastes are all over the place. Indeed, my Pandora station reflects that! On a recent trip back from the NY Finger Lakes, about 2/3 the way home my wife turned to me & said, "Your music sucks!"

She was more hating the heavy metal, rap, & even some celtic music in the mix.

I'll listen to almost anything, but I'm mostly ABC - "anything but country." That said there is some decent stuff in that genre. I can listen to Johnny Cash all day.

All that said, one of my favorite albums of all time was when I was a teenager & really getting into music. I don't think there was a bad song on the entire album by Genesis "Invisible Touch" in my opinion.

Invisible Touch gets a lot of play in our house. My better half is a huge Genisis fan.

My apologies to any ladies and gents with sensitive ears - this made me chuckle! I actually quite like Boris!

Other times, I can get lost in this genre

Or 80's hair, or 70's country...

Really, anything but hip-hop.

Highly entertaining (for me at least) cob. Listened to Flatt and Scruggs as a kid. Thanks for sharing.

Forgive me if this has already been posted. Crazy good musicianship on this one.
