So.... I saw this the other day and thought “maybe if I wait a day or two it will come to me”
But nope....why would you want a shopping cart full of pineapples??
Do you ferment them?
Use them in umbrella drinks?
Make Hawaii pizzas?

I’m lucky to not have snow for 6-7 months of the year here so pineapples are not exactly a staple.

Enlighten me please.

To ferment them.

I'll try almost anything once.

Huh, thought they’d be too acidic.

Cool, thanks!

Worried that the amount of glassware you purchased might alert the Feds into thinking you are cooking meth..

If your wife ever start screaming because she screwed up the mud pie cookies and is threatening to throw them all in the garbage... and you grab it and add more sugar and yeast and ferment it....you might be a distiller!

(Check out the “recipe development “? Threads...)

If you look at empty glass jars and bottles - any glass jars and bottles - and think "man that would store distillate so well".

If youve ever walked down a city steet and seen a huge set of copper doors and started wondering how you could use all that copper sheet you might be.

I was down in the tunnels of our factory building the other day, and was having thoughts about all of the 2 and 3 inch copper pipe. Literally miles of it down there. The tunnel is 1468 feet long, and there are no less than 20 copper pipes, 2 and 3 inch in diameter that run the length of the tunnel and branch off into other tunnels and up into the office towers between the bays. Between the copper piping and all the wiring to carry 14,500V there is a huge amount of copper down there.

I cleared the garden of nettles (well... almost) a couple of days ago, and I did briefly look at the large piles of greenery and wonder about throwing it in a bucket with some water and yeast.

I have had nettles, boiled, as greens with a meal.
Seventy-five years ago so I don't remember what it tasted like...
I have read of that in remote Scottish islands, too.

On holiday a couple weeks ago and passed a public building with some very artsy bike racks. A stainless steel tube rises out of the ground, coils for a few metres and then sinks back in. And for a few moments all I could think of was where I might be able to make use of such a fantastic cooling coil.

If you ever look back with regret at all the copper you've fed into your metal-casting furnace, before you knew better... you might be a 'stiller

When you're at the plumbing store and looking for lead-free solder and the guy on counter asks if you're making another still...

When you borrow your neighbours pipe benders and they ask if you're making another still...

(It's perfectly legal down here)

If you've ever mentioned you're looking for a longer mash paddle, and the next time you go round your mate's place you leave with this: (It's 4ft long!)

If you've ever wanted to end a camping trip early just to come home and run your still 3 times in a day, you might be a stiller.
I didn't, but I wanted to...
