If you've ever....
Made moonshine for purely medicinal purposes
Or to be used as hand sanitizer....
….you might be a Stiller
I’m itchin’ to get my pot still out of storage.
Now I’m wondering if it’s okay to use a sac run for sanitizer.
Last week BC - before Chinese virus - I stopped at Dollar General for a scrub pad.
There they were-
Copper Scribbers and I’m immediately wondering if I could hook them up in the cap.

Speakin of wife's...if your wife is jealous of the time you spend with your still, ......you might be a moonshiner....
Mine says what are you gonna do with all this(I have about 20 gallon on hand)I tell her you never know.
If your 14year old daughter stirs corn rye pudding on a Turkey fryer while you tend the bbq grill you might be a Stiller
I have to admit it was quite funny. I picked up 100 lbs of sugar and some yeast at the local restaurant supply house. Let's just say there was a gentleman with a couple more years than me in the line behind me. With a twinkle in his eye, he causally said "just sugar and yeast today--huh imagine that" I just told him since we were stuck at home she was doing a lot of baking". He never said a word, just did that little purse of his lips.
If while baking, the wife says "do we have any more sugar" then looks at you realizing what she said and bursts out laughing as you head to the 70 bags in the basement.... You might be a stiller.
(Happened today actually and I couldn't wait to post this, hehehe)
Numerous 57L kegs, some propane, one 220v electric with stilldragon controller. Keggle for all-Grain, two pot still tops for whisky, a 3" reflux with deflag for vodka. Coming up, a 4" perf plate column. Life is short, make whisky and drag race!

Ya going crazy because ya can't find where the electronic blanket is stored and it ain't coz the bed is cold.
Couple of weeks ago I was looking for the heating pad.
If you walked into the hardware store and saw this across the lot...and your jaw dropped, your heart beat faster, and you ran toward it only to find out it was a space heater....yeah, you might be a stiller. And your wife might look at you like you was nuts.
Double, Double, toil and trouble. Fire Burn and pot still bubble.
Might be plenty of good barley about in Australia soon.
Our major client country has spat the political dummy (that's a pacifier in America I believe) and proposes an 80% tariff!
Occasionally when looking at Facebook Marketplace I check and see if there are any kegs for sale locally.
I just searched and this popped up in West Memphis Arkansas (several hours from me)
Caption:
"Stainless steel tank heavy made with feet. Would make a great wood stove or smoker. $75"
If you ever had a few too many while reading about dunder pits, lactic acids, and easters then decide to infect 50# of freshly mashed corn with this years sour kraut. You might be a stiller.
