Big Storm Coming

Just got off the phone with a friend who lives in Northern Minnesota. She said since early this morning the snow has been nearly waist high and is still falling. The temperature is dropping way below zero and the north wind is increasing to near gale force. Her husband has done nothing but look through the kitchen window and just stare. She says that if it gets much worse, she may have to let him in!

We got 2 to 3 inches. Not bad. But it is cold as all get out. And the wind is blowing like crazy. I have stayed home working on the computer. But now I need to go see a customer. Not looking forward to all the crazys on the road.

6" deep here right now and expecting another 2-4 by midnight. Spent about an hour getting the plow truck ready last night... It's white gold falling from the sky for us with plows.

I've been wanting a plow for some time now. But I didn't have anything I would want to put it on. Now that I have a good truck to put a plow on. The prices just went trough the roof. I will never find one for a good price till spring.

Where I grew up it was always snow and blizzards in the winter. Where I live now it just rains. I'll take the rain.

Well, .....did she let him in?! ....or is he still out there, dead, frozen to his 2" x 5' column, because he was clinging to it trying to keep warm(but he eventually ran out of propane)?
