%&*($#%$ SNOW!!!!

Post by goinbroke2 »

4hr's blowing snow and the #$%^ing snowplow just filled the end of the #$%^ing driveway back in with 3ft square blocks!!!!

Why am I here again...can't wait to retire and go somewhere..ANYWHERE where there are palm trees.

I heard NB got it worse, so there's that I guess,

How much snow do YOU have so far??
Numerous 57L kegs, some propane, one 220v electric with stilldragon controller. Keggle for all-Grain, two pot still tops for whisky, a 3" reflux with deflag for vodka. Coming up, a 4" perf plate column. Life is short, make whisky and drag race!

We didn't get any more now but have had around 5 ft all winter. But crazy cold

Just went out to garage and it's so cold it froze my cooling barrel solid. And I mean solid
My pump was in it running to keep it from freezing and has always worked so far
This time not so much. Didn't know 55 gallons could freeze like that.

Neg 27 here today before wind chill. That's current. Was lot colder last night
Dipped to about 36 below I believe.

Yeah they called for 50cm here but it's past that. Drove the wife to work today, 102 barely plowed let alone any smaller roads.

Like I said, it's winter in Canada...neighbor was blowing his driveway and we stopped and talked for a minute, he asked "where's all this global warming crap they keep talking about" I told him it's been warming since 1850 (the end of the mini-ice age) and it's still 3 degree's colder now than when the Romans were running the place a couple thousand years ago, but leave your SUV running in the driveway, that's supposed to heat everything up within the next couple years according to Al Gore!
He should know, he invented the internet and all... :wtf:

we have been having a january thaw for about 6 weeks now. gets cold on the weekend for some reason  :wtf: warms up for the workweek.
got about 5" on friday, but thats just a light dusting. And it was above freezing yesterday and today...so meh...i can take it.
I finally quit drinking for good.

now i drink for evil.

Oh ya. We get a tone of the lake effect snow here. Tho not as bad as a lot of places. Hell there are parts of Michigan that are farther north than me and get wayyy more snow.

We got about 3" more than you did HDNB, but it's melting like crazy today.

I've been planning a fishing trip up that way. If it happens, I'll let you know and bring you a bottle to try. Always glad to have another opinion and critique.
