Makin hotdogs with my boiler, Yum

Little or nothing to do with distillation.

Makin hotdogs with my boiler, Yum

Post by coastershiner »

Confession:I made hotdogs on the top of my boiler, while doing a 4 hour sprit run. That boiler is hot! And hotdog boils good on it with a bit of water. Where's the mustard?
Am I the only person who in the history of the world did this?

And now we have a lid. Don't worry guys. This comply with rule #6. It is a stainless steel chimney liner, cut halfway and turned into a lid. Special thanks to wifey on this one.

Eating anything cooked over a camp fire is best ever. I bet hot dogs on your boiler is same thing. Where is the chili and buns? Gotta have warmed chili and buns. I got a feeling white trash eats good and you just converted several to white trash. You might be a stiller if you warm lunch on your still. I like it.

If I'm eating and I stop for any reason my plate goes right on the boiler. I don't usually heat things there because I like to run the charcoal grill. It covers up any smells I may (or may be not) making distilling.

I see a future of recipes being offered up for the next run. :sarcasm: Chili dogs, hobo campfire meals, etc.

Placed my coffee mug on top of my cap many times to keep it warm. I've thought about heating my sandwich but it's usually eaten by the time I finish thinking.

Love the hot dog idea.

And the next million dollar idea: stillin accessories. Weiner cookers, coffee makers, sandwich toasters...all as add-ons to your still lol

Yep, an accessories market! I think about those old fireplace inserts that stuck out and the hole for the flute (cut out) that was used on the top to adjust for heating water.

I've done hot dogs but I have a flat SS pot lid so I just placed the dogs on top with no water.
